Electrical Stimulation: New Approaches to Neurorehabilitation – At the Intersection of Science and Clinical Practice

08.04.2026 - MiP

Neurorehabilitation is undergoing a transformation: Innovative technologies are opening up new possibilities for patients with neurological impairments. Electrical stimulation, in particular, is increasingly becoming a central component of modern therapeutic approaches—with the potential to specifically activate lost functions and sustainably promote neuroplastic processes.

This webinar focuses precisely on this exciting intersection between scientific research and clinical application. It highlights how current findings from neuroscience are being translated into practice and what opportunities this presents for rehabilitation.

We are pleased to welcome Prof. DI Dr. Ursula Hofstoetter and Prof. DI Dr. Karen Minassian, two internationally renowned experts who have made significant contributions to the development and research of electrostimulation-based therapies. They will provide insights into the latest research findings, clinical experiences, and future developments—and demonstrate how innovative approaches are already transforming everyday therapy practice today.

Look forward to an in-depth, practical, and inspiring discussion on new approaches in neurorehabilitation.

NOTE: The webinar will be conducted in German, with French subtitles. We are working to make the webinar available in the archive in additional languages using AI — either through transcription/subtitles and/or direct AI-powered translation and voice synthesis.
