The consequences of a spinal cord injury (SCI) for those directly affected and their family, friends, caregivers, therapists and doctors are extremely challenging and multifaceted and often lead to similar questions, such as:
- What happened, what are my options?
- Where can I or my relatives and friends get information?
- Is there really no chance of being cured?
- Are there others out there going through the same experience?
