Importance of keeping the Body in best possible Shape

More is Possible, 25.03.2024

One very important point which is unfortunately often not paid enough attention to,  is the fact that it’s crucial to keep the body (and especially the part of the body under the lesion height, which is affected by motoric and sensory impairment), and even more accurately, bones, joints, etc. in the best possible condition due to the fact that we don’t know what solutions are about to come.

Even when specialists say that there is no cure at the moment, none of them can tell you with certainty that there won’t be one in a few years, or even is already there hidden in some Petri dish at a laboratory somewhere, especially when you see science accelerating that fast at the moment due to new tech. like AI, etc.

And when it comes to secondary issues, which every person faces while living with a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) -  it’s mostly that their effects could be reduced or even prevented altogether by providing adequate and frequent therapy in the right manner - which is absolutely not provided at the moment and that’s just a fact.

It’s very little movement in the system trying to chance the status quo - so let’s get it started together, so we can look back in a few years and tell that we did our part for success - And by success we mean that nobody which gets to the hospital with a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) leaves the Clinic without being healed, or at least has hope to be cured in nearby future.

Every individual can do something by staying in shape, alive and trying to change the status quo - doesn’t matter if you are directly or indirectly affected by Spinal Cord Injury - The big changes always start from the base. → More is Possible
